Dobiecki & Smith Architects, P.A., both insured, WMBE certified, was
established April 1st of 2003 and through these years have worked on
several projects, both commercial and residential. With eighty percent
concentrated on commercial projects, our company has built and
remodeled offices, created restaurant and additions, dry cleaning
facilities, salons and spas, dental offices, re-design parking lots and much
more. For residential projects, we have designed custom homes from
1,500 to 16,000 square feet and additions larger than 1,000 square feet.

Clemencia Dobiecki

The company is owned by licensed
architect, Clemencia Dobiecki, AIA &
LEED AP. She was born in Colombia and
has been living in Florida since 1990. With
a Master's Degree in Urban & Regional
Planning, she holds licenses in the State of
Florida and in Colombia. Her experience
in the fields of Architecture and Urban
Planning for more than 30 years in
Colombia and USA includes academia,
office management, project
management, construction
management, urban development,
facilities management, and real estate
graphic inventory. Currently, she is
researching in affordable housing and
green (environmental materials) for
building construction.

Previously to being licensed in Florida, she
worked for several architects as project
manager and producing construction
documents. Clemencia gained
experience in the construction field and
real estate management working for a
general contractor/real estate
developer-owner by holding place as
architectural coordinator of his company.
Through all those years, she’s learned to
work with the latest AutoDesk software
such as Architectural Desktop. Currently,
she uses Revit, producing construction
documents and 3D virtual models.
Additionally, she became proficient in
handicap accessibility compliance,
bringing some projects up to code.

Before moving to the United States , she
practiced architecture and urban
planning designing several projects in
different cities of her native country of
Colombia; she also had the opportunity
to become a professor of architecture in
Colombia. Aside from schooling in both
North and South America, Clemencia
studied a graduate course and the first
PhD year in architecture in Madrid, Spain.
Her commitment to her professions is
based upon responsibility, trust, and
loyalty, which she performs in all
